Our Services

Hasa has three fundamental services in nursing, medico-legal services and knowledge management.

NURSING is the well-oiled sprocket in the hospital industry. It is the beacon of excellence and quality of private hospitals largely because of its highly qualified force complying with the rigid standards and high ethics as laid down by the South African Nursing Council. Many private hospitals offer basic training and, in particular, much needed bridging course, specialist and ongoing training for staff less qualified nurses to help them become professionals. The private hospital industry is committed to providing nursing care of the highest standard - a standard of care our patients have come to expect.

MEDICO-LEGAL services through our legal affairs office deals with all legislation, policies, ethics, human rights and regulations that impacts on the provision of healthcare in South Africa.

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT housed in the corporate communications departments is responsible for the coordination of research and the strategic relationship with the sector’s various publics.

THE HASA CODE OF ETHICS is binding to all its members. Click this link Hasa Code of Ethics for the copy or the Hasa Office can send you an electronic copy on request.
